Our Hero It came out of the blue! I’m suddenly a mossimo guy.
I used to be like a hard core Folded & Hung kinda-guy. Some F&H sizes have been changed. Didn’t like their new system.
Now, with mossimo… I’m buying long sleeves, eye-glasses, sun glasses. I also have undies. (but I ain’t gonna show it here, so no worries :D)
I used to like F&H’s pastel colors. So, I tried going back to their shops. I checked out their boutique at Greenhills. Everything was almost neon. And I almost hated it. Not much Earth colors.
With mossimo, I feel flexible and versatile… And it’s soooo chic!
Here’s my sun-glasses… I got in Davao last year and it’s still Chic!

So, check out mossimo (not because I’m advertising or anything. But it might be a perfect alternative for you)
Please leave a comment if you feel other wise.
I’d really like to know your thoughts.

Our Villain Guess what? Like C2’s infamous no “Nutrition Facts” issue, here’s another contender.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Tropicana Twister:
Do you think you’re getting nutrients in this bottle?
If you are, which ones?
Is this your kid’s favorite beverage? Or your favorite alternate beverage for soda?
I think the General Public would like to know what nutrients we get out of this twistin’ beverage.
I hope the Tropicana Twisted Family do their research and check this blog out.
I just discovered this a while ago.
I was smokin’ outside on Turo-turo.
I’m not quite sure if someone has already discovered this or maybe someone had made this an issue already. But I might as well post it and hopefully reach out to those who are not aware about these things.
To the company: My apologies, but you know this concerns the general public, so I hope you explain things now as early as possible.
Peace!

Our Hero My office mate, Alma, had to rush to the office for a very important meeting/presentation. So, she got off early in the morning, started the car’s engine, and got off the car to open the gate.
The gate is now open wide. She got back to the car. Her hand rushed to open the door, but she couldn’t open it.
All doors are locked with the key inside.
She was late.

Our Hero You’ve been a rebel at some point in time. (Well, I’ve been.) And you’d think about the time when you walk out, go straight in your room from your Dad or Mom’s ranting how life is and how reality bites. Another case would be a teenager running away from home (at the age of 18, please) and show up when you’ve got someone pregnant or you are pregnant and seek financial or parental advice.
I have to tell you that it hurts for a parent to see their child/subordinate disobey you (or at times hurt emotionally, like hearing them say out-of-blue expressions.)
The thing is, I now, know how it feels when some (being a boss) don’t obey you or they run away from sensibilities you’re bestowing upon them.
I definitely learned things the hard way. It ain’t easy, especially when experience is teaching you. I wish my Mom was here to tell me “I told you so!” Shape me up a little bit even when I’m 28. It will be nice to hear some parental advice.
I think I was 13′ish, my Mom said don’t hit your little brother. Well, there was a time I couldn’t stand him. I threw an umbrella and it hit him on the head. It got bad that we had to bring him to a hospital. You know, stuff like that wouldn’t happen if you’d listen.
I think our parents deserve a little bit more respect. (This goes out for the rebellions.)

Our Hero Distractions can be good for a time being. When you’re lonely, sad, and banged up with boredom.
Or when you’re all dried up from work, and creative juices have been all sucked out… Distractions can be good.
I’m sure a little shouting match with your wife won’t hurt, not that I’m suggesting.

Our Hero I’ve always been fascinated with Greek Mythology. I keep visting Greek-infused websites, so I’d be nostalgic how Miss Navarro taught us the tragic stories.
I don’t know really, but I think she was a factor in opening my mind. She was really passionate telling these two epic poems (Iliad & Odyssey) as if she’s part of it. As if she’s Homer.
I can sometimes imagine her reading those books day and night. Trying to picture every word and virtually place a push-pin, so she wouldn’t forget.
Oh well. That was High School. Cheers to the good ol’ days.

Our Hero

“Time is the only comforter for the loss of a mother.” Jane Welsh Carlyle
Countless of sleepless nights have brutally been a part of my every day life. How can you possibly utter the word “forget” or even the iota of it? You just can’t.
My Mom died more than a year ago. She’s been a hero to me ever since my life began (literally.)
Although this may seem to be a cliche, I would totally beg to differ. Everyone has a different story to tell.
<<sudden thought>> I realized now why I opened this blog up. I lost my hero and now I’m searching for one. <<sudden thought>>
I’ve tried to be frivolous about it, but it has struck me deep.
I dedicate this blog to her. My Mom, my Hero.

The Mug
If you can rid the thought of question, “Why the hell do you have a powerpuff mug?” then please read on. [giggles]
It’s simple. It’s a thick glass with a holder, which ables you to pour in hot beverages and not get burnt when you’re using it.
Okay, enough of the obvious general meaning.
What’s so weird about this thing is, whenever I wake up in the morning, it’s the first thing I get. Fill it with hot cocoa or brewed coffee. Now, usually you’d go brush your teeth or get a stick and light it up. And if you’re a health-buff you’d do push ups, especially when you’re girl’s lying down watching you.
May it be instant or freshly brewed, you can’t have a cup, if you don’t have a cup.
Brewed Instantly
I think I can say that half of the Earth’s population is highly addicted to coffee.
It jolts you up. Calms you or makes your brain crack.
It’s the prerequisite for work. It’s the remedy for mental block [or writer’s block, like the one I’m having now.] When you suddenly notice your legs shake and get a rush to wait up in line at Starbucks for a White Chocolate Mocha Venti (hold the fat.)
It’s the chemical our brain needs. And we’re so dependent, we find ourselves in a state of fit if we don’t have some soon.
I drink an average of 5 mugs a day, except on weekends when I’m not stressed out. The point is, you can find happiness or may it be, the simple pleasures in life from a simple tiny bean. I’ve realized how happiness can be THAT simple.
